Los Angeles is the second largest American city. With a population of close to four million people in an area of close to 500 sq. miles, there are close to 114 neighborhoods. It is difficult to explain over a hundred neighborhoods in detail and hence, a broader division is required. Such a division is provided below with a view to describe all neighborhoods in a proper manner. Some of the most prominent and broader neighborhoods are explained below.
